Embarking on a musical journey is a beautiful decision. The 30-minute introductory session is our first step together—an introduction for us to connect and for me to understand your unique voice and aspirations.

This one-on-one session is designed to be a comfortable and encouraging experience. It is a mutual assessment to ensure my teaching style is the right fit for you and to determine the best path for your musical education.

What to Expect in Your Session:

• A Personal Introduction: We will begin with a brief conversation about your musical background, your inspirations, and what you hope to achieve.

• Vocal Assessment: I will guide you through some simple vocal exercises. This is not a test, but a way for me to understand your natural vocal range, pitch (shruti), and current grasp of notes (swara sthanam).

• Discussing Your Goals: We will discuss your short-term and long-term goals. Are you learning for personal fulfillment, for performance, or to deepen your cultural connection?

• A Path Forward: Based on our session, I will recommend the appropriate class level (Basic or Advanced) and suggest the next steps to help you begin your journey with confidence.
